What an experience!!! I am not scared of storms, but have a VERY healthy respect for them, and what you described is why I do. . . so glad you and your family was not hurt, but so sorry about the loss of the chicks and anything else you might find as daylight appears!! Blessings to you and yours!! I know God doesn't give us more than we can handle, but gee whiz . . . .You have surely had yours all in one lump!!! The rest of the year has to be nothing but good for you and yours!!!!

Thank goodness you are all safe, hope the eggs make it & the damage isn't too bad. This certainly has been a terrible year for storms so far.
I just dread hurricane season which is almost upon us.

Wow! Too close for comfort! Glad to hear the family is OK......Must have been really scary! We've had wind storms, but in all my days, I've never seen a tornado touch down near me...We did have so much wind one year, it tore our metal shed clear apart and flattened it like a pancake.......
