Songster
My husband has a bad back from breaking it as a teenager. Now he has peripheral neuropathy, too, so he is always flirting with disability, or dodging the bullet, since he really wants to keep working. I hurt my back in May, then developed tendinitis in my right arm using the power tools necessary to build the coop. We all got sick with some flu in July. Now, they think I have carpal tunnel syndrome. So I am super happy that the ducks are now outside, since I was having to hand-carry them in and out of the house from their brooder pen indoors every day. I have a pet gazebo where they could stay outside and be protected enough during the day if I had to leave for awhile. I put their food and a two-foot round doggie pool in it so they would have what they needed, despite the close quarters. They preferred that to going back inside and being carried out again.
