how to train rooster to attack strangers

i had no choice my roo was mean right off , even thou i had babied all the chicks he arrived in ,the older he got the worse he became , i dont kill things,so no matter what i just try to work with the problem at hand to change the situation and take the time to read the animal and see how to get the best out of it, the roo always knew i was fair with him , i rewarded him at the end of the day treated him well so he trusted me , he would sleep on the fence between the hen house and the back pasture , he could trust me that was our understanding , i was actually great full for him being so protective of all my family and pets ,especially wile my husband was in hospital for months before his death , i knew my roo was pretty much keeping with the program , he always did what said and would fall back & go away if i told him to, i have to say it was not my plan he was that way but , i made the best of his basic aggression & i did need a guardian for my place & my dog was a Mexican hairless all 8 pounds of him HA, so because of were we lived a good yard guard was important , and i guess this roo was just a part of a better plan for us, i have had problems with dog wardens in the past, when i raised the biggest dogs in the world in CT, plus all the shots and licensing and problems if some one complained or was knocked over by a giant playful pup or possibly nipped , or what even plus the home owners insurance , some wont insure you because of the size of your dog, and i had dogs let me tell you 15 English mastiffs at were loose o n my land , but never left my land , they guarded all my animals & home, so after this dog warred tried to ticket me saying one of my dogs was on the neighbors land , after that i kept all my dogs in and never let them out into the yard unattended and bought geese . and the geese were even better then a dog ,the law or dog warden has no say over geese HA or farm animals , i dont care if they were attacked by a goose HA, and the goose drew blood..!!! they could do nothing about it..! thats the best part of having a guard that is a goose or a roos & plus it all comes down to knowing how to train just about every kind of animal, so i trained my geese to do what i said ,i raised them from hatching ,and spent the entire spring & summer with them every day,all day long and i became i was their mommy goose , it was a great relation ship , i did have chickens then to , but my rooster was a wonderful Arucana and great with every one , so this bad new Hampshire roo we just had was not my idea of the roo i wanted , it was a mistake that we even got him in with some sexed chicks, we had not planned on having a roo at all, but he did a good job and i could depend on him , i actually miss him now, after my husband has passed when im here caring for 75 chickens on the Mexican border & running our egg business its a lot of work ,but i do have great roos now 8 roos in all of different breeds now plus another new Hampshire red roo, but when he was 16 months old he started a bit of funny stuff with me early on , but i know how to turn him back and stop him from turning mean ,thats one thing i learned from chicky boy that there is a point when you can stop them & keep them from turning mean, when it first starts and so this NHR is doing good now , he shares a giant pen with his hatchling brother a RIR they are both fine sweet boys and doing well but basically i still miss my fearless friend my big old tough chicky boy.

I'm just slightly confused as to why you need a rooster to do your bidding for you? I mean, I have trained guard dogs...GUARD, not attack. But if someone comes onto my property I go out and take care of it myself. It's nice to have a dog (and a gun) there for back up, but a rooster?

If I was some hardened criminal coming to case your property and steal your stuff and a rooster came after me I would kick it. Sure it might hurt them, but at that point do whoever these people are having anything to lose?

yes that does seem funny i agree , but i have a deep respect for roos in general, and there is a difference, some roos are mean & will chase you around & some roos like mine are down right dangerous...! they can puncture arms, legs, or put holes in your head or puncture eyes with sharp long spurs leaving deep puncture wounds that can become infected . its really not worth trying to kick at them. my friend has a piece of her ear missing from a rooster attack.
