Worked quite well. After 3 liberal applications of Vaseline the leg scales are no longer raised. They aren’t smooth like new scales but they will be once she grows in new ones.

Keep putting Vaseline on her legs real thick. I’d cut the zip tie off too.

Just keep putting Vaseline on them every few days for awhile. You’ll be able to tell when her legs are healthy. They’re nowhere close yet.

Can take quite awhile after all mites are dead for scales to regenerate.

Applied a liberal coat of Vaseline to bird’s legs and removed zip tie. Will reapply Vaseline on Monday evening.
