How to trest for fowl pox

There is no real treatment for fowl pox. It is a self limited virus spread by mosquitoes that lasts about 2-3 weeks. If there are scabs around eyes, I would apply antibiotic ointment into the eye twice a day to help prevent secondary bacterial infection. The scabs are contagious when disturbed or when they fall off. But mosquitoes are the main spreader. Supportive care to make sure they can get enough to eat and drink if they cannot see is helpful. Wet fowl pox that causes yellow lesions inside the beak and throat are much more dangerous. Here is a good article to read:

Once they get it are they immune for life?
