I have about 2 wooded acres but my land is new. It was farm fields about 30 or so years back so the trees are small and I don't have any creeks or anything. I took these at Medoc Mountain about an hour from my house. We (DH and me) went "hiking" on the trails around the mountain. Yes we do have 1 mountain in central NC. It's very small and NOTHING like what we have in the western part of the state (duh) but it's beautiful out there. We walked over 4 miles today!!!

You know, I'm sorta impressed. You were actually able to find leaves
and clear water. I thought everything down south was black swamps,
snakes, and banjos. You must have driven pretty far north to get those
pics.

I'm assuming you're being silly. I'm in North Carolina!!! It's beautiful here. Banjos are awesome!

Yes I just smacked you.

I gaurantee it's more of a mountain than I have in my area... can anyone say pairy state! LOL I feel lucky to have a very small slope to part of my property (I would not even call it a hill

). Most of my land has just enough slop that it may have been used only for grazing and never seen a plow. But there are not enough trees to call it a forest but I have a few huge old ones that I will be sad if they ever come down in a storm.

Of course I'm being silly. I love the Carolinas. It's ironic that the
thing I don't like about the south are all the northern transplants.
I'm a darn yankee and love it up here. Most, NOT ALL, of the people
I know who have moved down south and stayed are people I'm
happy to see go. I just love it when people move into an area and then
tell the natives how they should act, live and talk. That's a post for
another time.

I was getting a little nervous waiting for your response. "Oh ****, did
she take me seriously?"

Of course I didn't take you seriously. I'm a redneck and proud of it and I LOVE the south...but y'all already know that.

You silly boy, I never take you seriously. Same with mdbucks.

Yeah lets not start talking about transplants ruining my state. That's a touchy subject for me.

The 1st one.....I would have guessed it was double exposed............speckled's pic looks like the shutter speed was set low and the camera moved up and down.
