I got mine for free too, i just had to catch them! That should have been caught on tape......but now they are real docile and let me pet them

I have a salmon Faverolle, three Wyandotte bantams, two cochin bantams and two mutts. The mutts are sisters from the same hen--a silver Phoenix. One is a Welsummer cross, the other a Rhode Island Red cross. The Phoenix sisters lay as much as the Faverolle, though I suspect the RIR lays a little more than her sister who is crossed with Welsummer. I'm very pleased with these Phoenix crosses. The RIR has decided to buddy up to me. She was skittish at first, but now she comes up to me when I visit the coop, talking and chatting in curiosity. A real sweetheart!
