I think he looks very nice. Because of different monitors, cameras, lighting conditions, etc. it is impossible to judge color.

The Standard for white Guineas says that a "yellow cast to the plumage of white Guineas is a serious defect". In real life is he pure white?

Yes he is. The pictures aren't that good because I had to take them with my phone. I don't have my camera right now.
So do you think he would have a chance in a show. Maybe just a county fair?

If it's a country fair you might want to find out what they go by. I was surprised the top guinea at our fair was pied. Good luck with them. It sounds like fun.

He has an excellent chance. And as the previous poster noted, a county fair may not go strictly by the standard and you may be able to enter any of your other colors.

That's a really pretty bird, but it's not a pure White Guinea... I can see he has pearling along his lower body and lower breast area. Pure Whites are just that, pure white with no markings and no barring on the wing feathers at all. Looks like a sun-bleached Buff Dundotte to me. It's possibly a Porcelain, but he appears tan based in the pics.

How long does it take for them to be old enough to be entered into a show?
