How Would You Handle This?*UPDATE*

Just got a call from LEO deputy I know. Looks like the comissioners took this issue very seriously. He is investigating what happened. Since I was the one that had the panels shoved into them they are talking to me first. Then they are talking with others.

Hope something is done with this guy.

I don't think they should remove the wife, as she didn't have anything to do with it, but the husband might be allowed one chance. Let him know he did wrong and that many people noticed and this is blowing up, into a big problem for the fair. If I was the board chair, I would tell him not to go to the OP to apologize but to be on his best behavior "ALL THE DANG TIME. Everyone has a cell phone with a camera and everyone know how to use them. Remember that."

I feel everyone should have a chance to make a big, bad mistake. If they don't learn from their mistakes, after they have been pointed out, then they get the full weight of the penalties, laid upon them. No one is a better worker than the guy who has already made all the mistakes, except the person who has made all the mistakes and learned from them.

That's the employee, I want.

I can't believe the nerve of that guy! If I ever see someone endangering children or animals, they get a very loud piece of my mind. He would have had a very hard time operationg his backhoe because I'd be up there on it giving him what for.

Jetblack- Under most circumstances, I'm all for giving second chances, and agree with the premise of what you are saying. However, this is a grown man. If he hasn't learned not to endanger children or animals by his age, then his learning curve is far too low for much hope! Unless this individual is 12 years of age or under, he needs a very big boot up the backside!

The fair board meeting is next month and I am on the agenda. They had cancelled it this month.

JetBlack the wife screamed at a senior 4-H'r and made her cry. Not a person I want at the head of my fair board. The other fair board members do not like her either and are looking for a reason to get her gone. This 4-H member's mother is coming too.

Had the fair board meeting tonight.
That guy's wife needs to be drop kicked too.

Was told to be there at 6pm. I got there and was immediately asked to leave. They had to have an excutive meeting first.
So I had to wait outside for over 10 minutes.

I brought up the damage to the sheep pens. She asked if it was just normal wear after use for 6 years. Yeah like using them for 5 days a year is really going to break a peg.
Told her it was a fresh break on the metal. She rolled her eyes. Looked her dead in the face and told her I know a piece of freshly broken metal when I see it, because I used to be a welder. The look on her face.

After this issue was settled it got hotter then the out of control furnance in that room.

Brought up her husbands actions. She tried to get around it, but I wouldn't let her. She tried to bully me like she does the rest of the board.
Such as asking why I just didn't step out of the way of the tractor. Because I didn't know he was going to do what he did.
Said he apologized. Not to me or anyone else.
Told me I should have gone up and punched him. Oh yes I really want to be charged with assault.
She said I should have chased him down. I've never been able to chase down a tractor in road gear yet.
Told her how DH tried to talk to him, but he went into their camper and wouldn't come out. Told us we should have just walked in after him, the door was unlocked. Sounds like unlawful entry to me.
I know I scared the board pretty bad, when after one of her remarks I said fine nothing is going to be done here so I will go visit the sheriff.

Going to talk with the deputy who was assigned this case about what she said. Pretty sure he is going to laugh and say it was good that I didn't do as she said.
