Yuck!

Imagine the crunch the bugger would make when you stepped on it! I stepped on a wolfspider once and you should've heard the crunch that bugger made! It made my hair stand on end!

Gosh guys I never said it was real!! I just posted the picture. I thought it was interesting but not relavent to anything in particular so I put it in random ramblings. Whether it is real or not was never part of my original post. The thought of it being fake never crossed my mind because in Australia there are bird eating spiders. I did not post this as "sound science" or a new predator that everyone needs to be on the look out for.

That spider could be real, PBS did a story on it, they found a spider nearly a foot across, its was new to science. I am not so sure that the picture is real, but the spider is.

edited to say: please note the BUSH TURKEYS in the video and tell me where I can get a pair. I know I probably can't own them or get them in the US but I sure would like a pair.

Oh no Jenn I was not pointing out one particular person. Just kinda shocked that everyone thought I was claiming it was real. Maybe it is...maybe it ain't. I just thought it was interesting. Much more interesting than posting about how many M&Ms I ate or how much I enjoy the new toilet paper at my local store or the fact that I stumped my toe this morning on the way to the bathroom in the dark.

I was just wanting to converse with humans this morning and thought that was neat since I had no overnight deaths or major water main breaks in my coops lately.

So does anyone have a comment on those bush turkeys? I really think they are pretty cool looking.
