I have 5 ducklings (3 Pekin, 2 Khaki Campbells) they are not quite big enough to move outside yet. They grew out of their first brooder rather quickly (Rubbermaid tub). We moved them into our
shop and made them a new, bigger brooder. Our shop has a drain in the floor which really helps with the watery mess these little cuties can produce. The box is 5'x5' and approx. 11" tall. If you take this idea (or one similar) and run with it, take into consideration you may want to buy some extra boards, to make the box taller as they grow and can potentially get out.
