Thanks for the warm welcome. I just went out and bought Raising Chickens for Dummies! Turns out my neighbor is raising chickens too, Wild Ed. I met him through this forum. I went to take a look at his set-up. Very nice!

My dad is getting excited about this as well. He loves them and he lives across the street so he contribute quite a bit. I have an Uncle who raises chickens commercially and another Uncle that raises Guinea's and a couple chickens too.

No coop yet but I have a few ideas about what I am wanting, I have about 1/3 of an acre in the back of the property that I am not doing anything with except for mowing so I have plenty of options.
