(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I 1st started my chicken hobby approximately 4 years ago. 1st mistake was that I didn't know some chicks are for meat only.... LOL

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have about 12

BUFF LACED POLISH
DARK BRAHMAS
SALMON FAVEROLLES

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? searched the net to learn about chicks before I jumped into it

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? horse back riding

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
not working outside the home anymore. I have a horse, donkey, 2 barn cats, 2 indoor cats and a German Shepard.

My family always enjoyed driving through Troy on I-35 because there was a hit German Song from 2004-2005 or so(and we are German-American) from the Fanta Vier(fantastic 4) "Wir Bleiben Treu"(we remain faithful to each other). Good times, and yep we know your spot in the state because it made us sing alot.
