It’s great to see such an incredible community! I’m new to the chicken lifestyle, but to say I went in lightly would be a joke! We have approximately 95 chicks and some of them I’m actually going to need help identifying! I bought a box of rare birds that I’m not sure I’ve actually figured out what they are! But as of right now we have California Grays, Frizzles, Black Austrolorps, Red SexLinks, blue austrolorps, Easter Eggers, silkies, polish, and then the 3 other breeds I’m not certain of! We live on 1300 acres so the amount of birds doesn’t scare me too much! We have a large shed coming in soon and I’ll be converting it into a huge coop! By the time the chicks will be ready to roam, we should have a large run built as well! If it’s something yalld be interested, I’d definitely post photos of the process!
