Hi Chloe
I'm Australian too and I keep chickens in a very humble but well-loved way. I'm in Adelaide, near the beach. I've got three chickens but I plan to expand over time so that I'll always have 3-4 laying regularly. My chooks are an Australorp (Mary) , a Barnevelder (Janet) , and a red hybrid layer (Sandy). They are thriving, although Mary's recuperating from a hard moult and hasn't returned to laying yet.

What about your chickens? How many? Are you in a rural or suburban setting?
