Community norms say I'm supposed to introduce myself. So.... Hi. I keep a small mixed flock for fresh eggs and entertainment. We have enough land I can let them free range, which they've been doing since I don't have a run finished for them. We're out in the country, and neighbors three houses down have chickens too, so nobody complains. We've had chickens in the past, but after some years hiatus, we ordered some chicks this past spring.
