Hi all. I'm Kim, have two beautiful friendly isa browns (I think) who lay me an egg each day. This is one of the girls, the other his doing her thing in the nesting box. This one seems to like the rain but won't eat her veggies!! The other is the same. I got them both from a lady who was selling her stock and going into breeding purebred Brahma! Wow they are huge birds!!
I have had laying hens on and off for most of my life, mainly for the eggs. I just purchased some fertile eggs and they are in the incubator - day one. Finger crossed.
They are a mix of silkies, Belgian D'Uccle, and the lone frizzle egg. I joined here to get some solid advice as I go on my hatching egg journey. Thank you all.
