howlong to give med chick starter

how long does everyone give med starter an is it o.k at like 4 week to switch to just chick starter.

hmm i don't even know if they need it medicated... i herd people saying it has never been a problem with out medicating but i don't really know. also the peacock in your avatar is beautiful

I give medicated starter until they are at least 6 weeks old...I was told it will decrease their chances of getting diseases..kind of like a vaccination against chix pox. as a child...but I dont' stress out over it...years ago I didn't use it and they are fine, with no diseases or complications.

i feed mine chick starter until i see the first egg. my silkies eat starter all the time. as they are always setting and hatching babys.
