How's this for an adventure?

Iron County was the name of the nearest airport, just a little grass strip. Not sure what town she lived in.

Probably associated with Ironwood, MI, somehow...

I love the U.P. -- it's so wild and beautiful.

What a lovely adventure...except the airplane part...(I get 'wild' with even the thought of flying on airplanes

What a fun time though, would love to meet Carol. So many good folks out there. We just hear so much of the bad.

Thanks for the photo's.

I love the UP. We vacationed up there when I was a kid. When I fly over the country at night, I notice that that's where there are the least number of lights - not even any deserts are darker.

Stopped for gas in Burlington.

Ya I kid about the winters (they are not nice) but I love the fact that there are no poison snakes or gators LOL. Makes up for the winters LOL. It is probally one of the last places you can drive for hours and see no signs of human habitation other than the roads. People for the most part are pretty great and still live by the old code of ethics.
