Thanks that is one of the main reasons I enjoy these birds because there are no set color pattern so there usually no 2 birds that are alike so they are easy to tell them apart and who is paired with who without looking at the bands.

I give about a 2.5 gallons of feed a day. But I have a lot of birds.

I know a guy locally with giant homers and they get 32 oz. +, but they are lazy breeders. So I would go with hubbles!

I found this to be true when I had them, great birds to look at but not to great for squab production.

I feed my birds a peas, corn, wheat mix. I forget the names of the white seeds and the small brown circular seeds. I feed my 10-12 oz birds a little more than an ounce a day. I have 16 birds and I'm trying to breed more (next year of course.)

What breed r breeds do you raise ?

I have some turkish tumblers, old gerrman owls, and some birmingham rollers (low quality ones.)
