Hubby found a duck in the chicken coop!

I just said....'now how in the heck did that get there?' He looked at me funny then called the youngest kid and said "what's the ducks name that's out in the coop?" Youngest son said 'Xander' Hubby said 'yeah...you don't know nothing about it" then laughed and walked away

I think he's finally learning chicken math!

My husband does chicken math as long as it stays chickens---HE would have a bird--no pun intended!! You have a patient husband!!

Oh we have new things popping up all over here. I once tried to convince him that some duck eggs that I got in the mail were chicken eggs after he said no more ducks. I opened the box and he said,

"so what kind of duck eggs are they?"

"duck egg? Whadda mean? They're chicken eggs"

"Mighty big chicken then..." and he walked away. LOL

No pulling the wool over his eyes. He's the best!

Oh he told me no more hatching after these last ones (about 120 eggs total) are hatched.....then what does he send me? A website with incubators!!

"You're going to need a big one if you're going to keep hatching so many eggs."

I love my hubby/enabler!!

That happened about a month ago here. Hubby came home from a trip and looked in the incubator and said "I thought we agreed no more chicken eggs" I said "yeah...we did" Pointing at the bator he says "so what happened here?" I said "oh those. Yeah, those are ducks!"

I was hoping to slide this duck in with those, but they're calls. Wayyyy too small to be the same hatch! lol

All hubby knows is that almost on a daily basis, new boxes are being delivered from the Mail lady. LOL

One day he came up from the barn with the wheel barrow. He knocked on the back door. I went to it and there he stood. A great big wheel barrow was filled with boxes.

"Anything you want to tell me?"

"Ummm not that I can think of."

"Yea, I didn't think so." and he walked away laughing. Then he yelled...

"Empty my wheel barrow, I need it!" LMAO!!!!!!

He's the bestest!!

That is so cute. Our husbands are so loving...

mine was caught outside, laying down, in the driveway, with our 2 new pekin ducks...Petting them. LOL! I had to spy from around the corner, cause he doesn't like ducks

...He is trying so hard to make sure these ducks are socialized. He just laid there with them...I wish I could have snuck up with the camera. He told everyone yesterday, he really didn't want them (you know a man thing) I just wish the neighbors would have seen him! I think my Dh is over comming his fear of ducks. He was all smiles and giggles.
