Thankfully he is ok, and luckily the car is drive-able. He was coming home from school, he is going to college an hour a way from home. During the week he will be staying in Butte and coming home on the weekends and this is exactly why I don't want him driving deer alley every morning and night if he was to commute! First day too!

I'm glad he's okay! We see many deer on the side of the road on our weekend trips. So far they stay there, so we haven't hit any yet, but I'm always worried that they will jump out in front of us at night.

I hate when that happens.

Glad your hubby is OK. sorry about the vehicle....

I had a friend that is taking a dirt nap now because and Elk landed in his front seat.

wow..I completely understand about the deer thing!!!

One ran right into my drivers side door of the van once...not too long ago..didnt cause nearly as much
damage as yours did...

I am so thankful your hubby wasnt hurt!!!! That is a blessing!

that doesnt look so bad.

thankfully he is ok I have seen deer do worse. I had my windsheild shattered by a deer, not what you would expect at 7 am other than a broken headlight the vehicle wasnt damaged to bad. The speed limit in town is 30mph thank god thats the speed i was travelling when this guy popped off a bank and there i was. The deer was a crumpled mess of fur and blood but thankfully killed on impact so he didnt suffer.

When hunting season starts the number of driver collisions with deer keep auto body repair shops and car rental places in business steadily till christmas. In a way they boost our economy in the holiday shopping season
