Huddling =/= Cold Right?

I recently took my chicks off of the heat lamp except for in one corner because it's still getting down in the 50s at night. They are 7 weeks old. At night they pile up on one another to sleep but do not peep loudly like a little cold chick would. I can't decide if I should lower the heat lamp for them to stay warm or if their little huddle is warm enough.

They should be perfectly fine without heat by that age.

They will pile up some to sleep, but it's not the same thing as piling up due to being cold or frightened. I know that makes sense, right?

Mine still pile up at 5 weeks but it's because of the dark, not cold.

Okay perfect, thanks! I was a little worried but they didn't seem to be in distress so just thought I'd make sure

They pile up for comfort. They are not cold at 7 weeks.

. Maybe a little scared, maybe not.
