No, you definitely don't want any weird sicknesses out there for the ducks and chickens to catch.....wish I knew more about wild birds. Do you think maybe they couldn't find enough food? Have you found any more?

Havnt found any sense,which is good.
How did everyones weekend go? Didnt do much here..its to muddy outside to do anything! Iv been waiting for my lone Silver laced wyandotte egg to hatch! Tomorrow is lockdown, so hopefully ill have a chick in acouple days!

Hope you don't find any more and it was just a freak thing.

Low-key weekend here. My entire backyard is a sopping, slurpy mud pit also. The roof over the run is leaking from the melting snow so it's a mess in there too; scattering a bale of hay helped. I have a feeling it'll be June before everything dries up. Not sure which is worse...mud or ice! Sick of dealing with BOTH, that's for sure!

Good luck with the hatch!! I have a SLW...Sylvia. She's one of my favorites. Can't wait to see pictures!

Me too. My property is on the boundary of some wetlands so we are wet even when it is dry... The run is just gross. poop on ice on mud... I keep waiting to slip and fall in it.

The other day I went out with my bf wearing my new jeans and when we got home I wanted to run into the coop to collect eggs. Of course since I wasn't wearing my coveralls I slipped and got poop on my brand new jeans... and I had been putting off wearing them for so long...

Yeah atleast they were dark jeans. I dont want to complain about the mud because it means the snow is melting but its so bad lol
