Your next hatch sounds great.  Nice variety.  Any chance you'd be willing to sell any Cream Legbars?  I have 3 cockerels that I hatched out three weeks ago.  I want to trade a couple for a pullet or buy one. 

I am getting ccl eggs from a breeder, so if i have a good hatch I will sell extras. I am planning on keeping at least 4 pullets. I only have a trio right now. I will let you know how it goes.

If we have time this season we might do a duck house, but that might wait until next year since we have several new gardens to manage this year too. I expect the "3 sisters patch" to be self sustaining, but it is never as easy as you think it will be.

There are 11 duckling! Thank you for letting me know how to sex them with their bills. I'll have my children help me with that, they are to fast to do it by myself! Does anybody have ducks that are free ranged in their yard? I would like to do that, I know it's different between the chickens and the ducks. Getting ducks back in their coop is a lot harder.

When it all gets going I will take some. At the moment it is post holes, construction materials, and weeds... lol.

I can relate to construction zones. DH is a carpenter.
