I think we're going to need another coop or build a really big one. DH is getting into this. He wants to buy a dozen hatching eggs in a few weeks. Right now we have:: 6 cornish X's in the garage 6 Orpington chicks 6 Orpington hens 1 Orpington JERK 10 assorted hens (my original flock) 20 eggs in the incubator (minus the duds after we candle them) And tonight DH's cousin is bringing over the 2 silkie chicks he bought from TSC that he isn't allowed to keep so why NOT bring them over to the chicken crazy relatives? And I have no idea how to integrate the silkies with the original girls after isolating them for a few weeks. I want to go home. I have no time for working.
