I just got my second egg that size today! I brought it in and showed my boys and they said, " We raising dinosaurs now?" They come from this one chicken I got as a hand-me-down and I think she is a Welsummer cross. We had one much larger than that when I was growing up, we took it to the farmer's market to get it weighed and it was 3/4 lb. When we cracked it, it had 4 full-sized yolks in it! The last one I got had two full-sized yolks in it. I love getting those big eggs! so fun!
