Bawk... my girls lay 2 or 3 of those a week as well.

Double yolker.. and they do not make cartons that they would fit in...
at least not cartons from the grocery store.

sure do! our duck eggs are a bit "richer" than chicken eggs so we use one duck egg an omelet.

When I still had my female mallard she laid a few big ones like that. Never ate them though.

All eggs taste the same. They're just different sizes.

The problem with duck eggs is that my darn ducks hide the things all over the place. I'm just never sure how old they are, so rarely take the chance unless it's pristine.

For some reason when I got my ducks I was expecting brown eggs. I couldn't figure out why some of my geese were laying these small, minature goose eggs.

Well, of course, they were the duck eggs. I don't know WTH I was thinking.
