My hens have been laying for about a month. Some have been small and double yokes. I have read this is normal, but this egg next to a normal egg it abnormally huge.
Poor hen! When our chickens started laying, we would get an egg about that size every day for a long time. It was crazy! Every now and then would get a triple Yolker!

When layers first start laying, it can be rough, with double-yolkers, no shelled eggs, different sizes, etc. Don't worry about it, except that pushing that out would hurt!
Hard to tell how big it actually is without a tape measure, ruler, dollar bill, or a quarter next to it for scale...'regular sized egg' doesn't count .
What was inside?
That egg also looks like the shell cracked and then was repaired during 'processing'.
I put them on my cutting mat. Hope this helps. I was shocked how big it is. The largest one so far. Much larger than a double yoker, looking forward to seeing if tripple yoker.
