Huge egg

175 grams by my kitchen scale , but how normal is this ? I believe an Amber Sex Link laid this .

Oh WOW! A couple of my goose eggs weighed that much...
Have you cracked it open? Could be a triple yolk. Poor girl! Its deffinetly not common but does happen. As long as its only an occasional event she should be fine. However id make sure she's getting a well rounded diet and maybe even some vitamins in her water. Id think if you don't find anymore soon, you could stop the vitamins. Im sure others will stop in and offer suggestions as well so maybe hold off on this until then, to decide.

Crack it open!! I’m betting a double yolker. I have t seen a triple yolker before.
Is she a new layer? I have found that my new layers will occasionally lay a LARGE egg. By the time year two rolls around their eggs are consistent in size.

Crack it. We had a triple yolker yesterday, but it only weighed 77g.

Amber sex links can lay massive eggs like that , I always feel sorry for them when they do,

Watch and make sure they’re all walking normal and don’t have any issues with their caboose...
