Huge egg!!!

Check out this huge egg.

This hen came from a sale and had not laid an egg since we got her 2 months ago. Got a new rooster, and since he arrived she has been laying big eggs. BUT, this is the biggest one yet.

She has some feathers growing on her legs. Is that normal for a Dominique? Who knows what she could be mixed with.

I just showed it to my husband and he said, "Are they SURE that came from a chicken???" LOL!! That had to hurt. That poor baby. I think she deserves some wonderful treats for that egg!

I have been getting about 2 or 3 of those a week--as big as yours and they are always double yolkers. The yolks are full size yolks too!
