HUGE egg!

Anything over 2.5 oz is considered a jumbo. I guess you need a new size- whooper

After you blow the egg, cnsider shellacing it as they are fragile without their contents. My daughter has done this for cute pullet eggs, tho we'venever had a Big Bertha quite like yours!

Modpodge is cheap and works great - available at any craft store.

Wow, what a great idea! Thanks for sharing that with the OP. It helps me out with my egg project also b/c I hadn't even thought of using something to shellack the egg!​
 
I have gotten some large eggs but that is even bigger than I have ever gotten. I feel for the girl that produced it!!!!!!
