HUGE Rant About Home-Life

Quote:
nah...not EX-boyfriend...I've worked too hard and WAY too long on him to just give him up. He just needs a bit more polishing...

You want to let me borrow some of the polish your girl used on you??

Sounds like alot you ladies hang out with spoiled bumms. My wife doesn't have to cook, clean or do laundry unless she feels like it. Some of us know how to run things with motors that live in the house like washing machine or dryers. And manual things like mops and brooms. also how to cook without burning the house down.

Is this the guy in the pic who's picking his nose & has a chicken in his lap while eating on the couch that's covered with clothes & junk? Hmmmm...

AMEN!! You do what you need to do, and when he says anything about the laundry not being done, ask him if he has forgotten where the washer and dryer are....when he says something about supper not being ready, give him directions to the kitchen, etc. I had to learn this lesson the hard way. Now my husband appreciates it when I do things, because it is not expected since I work a full time job also.

I'm lovin' MY husband right now .. LOL.

He cooks, cleans, grocery shops, etc. He is just learning to enjoy "down-time" and not feel guilty about it .. I, on the other hand, have NO problem with "down time"..

Well...there IS an excuse for that...LOL! We were in the process of going through MY junk and figuring out which could go to Habitat for Humanity and which we might need for the new place. Plus...the apartment was 500 sq. feet.

He wasn't picking his nose....the photo makes it look that way...and it was just too funny to delete! LOL. The chicken...she wasn't doing so hot. We were trying to get some food into her. I was having to leave for the weekend to work and he was going to stay there and feed her.

But..that photo is priceless in my opinion...

In my marriage, I have been very guilty of expecting DH to read my mind and getting huffy when he doesn't. Please don't make that mistake. Communicate your expectations to your boyfriend.

Hmmm...that's almost as bad of an excuse as not picking up your socks.

BTW, I wouldn't pick up my socks either if I had to eat microwaved dinner.

Good thing for me I can(and do) cook, clean, wash & iron clothes...plus cut the dang grass. My mother raised me right so I didnt have to listen to some old hen cackle...unless it was the one out back in the coop.

I should pr'y duck & run now, eh?

I want to see the photo!!
And bless your heart, tell him how ya feel when ya come home from work. My DH never had to help with housework until I began to work. I told him when I got a job there would be know way I could keep up with everything by myself. He replied " of course I will help, it is not fair for you to work and do everything yourself too".

PTL for this sweet man. Is he perfect? no, but he does do alot of house & outside work, especially if I am working more hours than him. Start talkin' and don't forget that honey draws the bees.
