Thanks for the great advice. I worked with a really good realtor who sold my home before I bought this one so I definitely plan on using her again. I have also heard that leaving some furniture in helps the buyer visualize better than if the rooms were empty. That will be no problem to do.
As far as DD, she is 20 years old. We paid for her first semester of college after high school; she went 2 weeks and dropped out without telling anyone. She has no ambition, no motivation, and no goals, nor does she help with any of the housework, yardwork or bills. While I'm not going to debate this with anyone, my opinion is that I have given her everything I possibly can, including the knowledge and the tools needed to succeed on her own. I can't stop living my life because she refuses to live hers. I will give her ample time to get situated; I won't just boot her out the door, but she has to make an effort.
