I didn't read all the replies but we just butchered our first and last RIR rooster. My husband swears they were as thick as his thumb and half as long. This was a super aggressive roo that was a constant problem child. I swear now its because of his equipment issues. We have butchered several other roos and he had never seen any even close to this size.
