I am so sorry for your loss! We just went through the same thing last month with my English Bulldog! Just died in the middle of the kitchen! I stepped over her, thinking she was just sleeping, and the kids realized she was dead. Our cat cried more than the kids. The animals know. Give some extra love to her friend.

We buried Rosie next to the pond with flowers, too. Even the horses came.

It is just such a shock, even when they are older, isn't it? We'll be thinking of your family. :aww This place is such a comfort. There are so many understanding people here.
