Those quail are 4 weeks old. We've got 4 in a seperate brooder that are a week old. We've only just started picking them up and stroking them. We didn't handle them much in the first week. Not all of the older quail like being handled so we don't handle anybody who is skittish. Just give their heads a little stroke when we top up their feeders to let them get used to us. So far so good. We've got a mixed group of 2 and 5 month olds, from the same source. We don't handle every day, maybe we should! How old are yours?
I have not but I'll look out for a copy. Thanks for the recommendationHave you read the book "That quail, Robert"?
