River had to fight down a rueful snarl. "Well, looks like I'm taking my bike to go collect you." She uttered, starting to put her math book to the side.
 
Millie herded her siblings into the bus. They alone took up about four rows. This got a couple ugly looks from others on the bus. Fern's pale face turned red and she hung her head.
 
Millie sat in the front row of the bus next to Jess. Jess was leaning over the side of the seat to look at her twin, Andy, who had found some paper clips on the ground of the bus. Jess thought that they might be useful for her next invention. Behind the seat where Jess and Millie sat was Skylar and Jimmy. Skylar was kneeling on her seat so she could feel the breeze that was streaming through the window next to Millie. Skylar's short hair was being whipped this way and that by the wind, and a huge smile was on her face. Jimmy popped up and rested his elbows on the back of Millie and Jess's seat. "Isn't this going to be fun, Millie?" He said excitedly. Millie sighed, not bothering to turn around so Jimmy wouldn't see her glum face. "I guess." She said softly. Fern, who was seated behind Skylar and Jimmy, was to overwhelmed to say anything, even with Albert lecturing her about the solar system in the row behind her. Albert was next to Andy. Millie noticed that most of her family had a smile on their face. Why couldn't she have the same? After all, she had wanted to go to school this morning when she woke up. But now she felt awful for leaving Cassie alone back home, not to mention having father do her regular chores such as milking the cow and giving fresh hay to the sheep.

Pets: she has her own blue roan horse named Styra , sheep, cattle, goats, chickens and many more horses
