Alex would tell me that she doesn't deserve my attention, however much of a loser I am. He held back a smile at that thought. "Well, no need to get snappy, drama-person." He grinned. "Nah, pathetic isn't a synonym of hopeless. At least, I don't think so..." He narrowed his eyes, trying to remember the exact definition of hopeless.
