Humane Trapping of Predators... I Am Confused

Is it true that if u take a car's battery and connect jumper cables to it and a have a heart trap and an animal touches it, it will kill it?????

In the older days they referred to it as "dispatching" predators.

There was every mention made of a clean and quick death... "humane" in other words. It is never expected that you will enjoy killing; only that you do what must be done.

I do agree, but on this site I've been called down for using terms women find offensive. So if I have something to say so as not to offend to PC crowd I try to use palatable words for the female. This is basically female site and they don't think like us. Well most anyway, not all.

Interesting observation, and close to the mark.

If you look at my forum name, "Davaroo," you'll see below it the phrase, "Poultry Crank".
Well..... it used to say "Pushes His Limitations."
You'll also see I've been active for 5 years. This is not correct - this site itself has been through several iterations and I have been on it for much longer.

This site has not always been the mainstream entity you see today. "Back in the day," it was moderated somewhat differently; one might say it was more "homey." The day-to-day control of the site in the early days was in the hands of a rather, well, "wide-spun" group of ladies.
That being the case, I was forever sticking my foot in my mouth and getting 'somebody worked up - usually for no really good reason. I eventually earned a reputation as a valuable - but sometimes only tolerable - contributor.

Today things seem to be a bit different here, and I have changed. I've learned that you can make your point in many ways....
I still don't believe in being PC, but a certain respect for others' viewpoints is always in order.
Oh, I still get the occasional vitriolic PM, chastising me for some point or another. But, it's okay - I welcome such things, nowadays.

This is outside sex or gender bias, and it simply IS. "Say what you wanna," remains my motto.

Perfect! What a boring world it would be if everyone always agreed on everything. You would not be able to find your own house...since everyone's house would be the same color! Even when I totally agree with some one I tend to be a devil's advocate just to make sure the other person knows the other side, is well supported with/in their conviction/idea, and not just flapping their jaw.

I don't believe in killing anything for no reason at all. But after losing 40+ birds several years ago to coons and the like I have found little compassion for them.

Not my personal choice in rifles, but it gets the job done. Its you or them, when it comes to preds. That whole kumbaya business is for campfires.

Oh my, this is off topic, but I'm in love again.
