AHH THAT is what the spot on the side is for. Mine is missing. So only automatic turning for us id guess.

Well, we started ours last night and found there is a need ( at least in ours) for something to hold the trays in place when they go to the front. Im guessing ther eis one usualy but ours is missing this, so we put in a bungee cord and all is well now. id check adn make sure the trays are stable on yours.

Of course, before we did this 119 eggs fell onto the floor of the thing.... Now back to trader joes for backup test eggs...

There is a long pin that slides through the top hole and into the bottom hole. It has a loop at the top to grab ahold of. Totally forgot to take pictures this morning, sorry all. We had state testing today here on the farm.

ahahah! yes that would make sense.

Some of them were fine, most of the egg deaths were tj's fertile eggs, easy to replace. But the splatted and broken eggs we threw away. There were a LOT of them, but not all 119.

This one heats up using the back up waffer but the zytron is no good 240.00 to order a new one
