humidity dip??

My bators running between 45-53% humidity. But this morning when I got up it had dipped in the night to 24% I immediately got it back up to 50% and its been steady all day will this effect my hatch? Have I killed my peeps. Im worried sick.

I should have said that its day 2. I don't know if this makes a difference.

No you should be fine. Lower is better through day 18 so as long as it does not stay that low for long periods of time you should be fine.

If you've got a forced air bator, your humidity should be - ideally - 45 (until day 18). YOu can run it a bit low or a bit high. THe beauty about humidity is that it doens't matter if you have dips or high days...it's the AVERAGE that counts.
