Humidity fluctuations during hatching

I live in Scotland, UK and nearly midnight here, but doubt I will sleep tonight! Haha, the joys of hatching eggs.

Leave the house now! Go shopping.
Ducks take forever.
Usually a good day or two after the make the external pip.
Good advice. As it is nearly midnight here in Scotland, you are right, I need to do something else. I will ignore it all and go to sleep.
Update in the morning!
thanks for being around xx

I’ll be watching for an update. :pop
Such a learning experience...……...PATIENCE is not my strongest skill! All 4 have pipped now but nothing else. You are all right about how long they take. I have lined up lots of jobs to do today so that I will be busy and not hovering over the eggs. Less temptation to meddle!

Weeheeheeheeeeeee!!!!
A solitary little Silkie hatched first (only viable one from 6) and now the first duckling! Needless to say that the jobs have been put on hold and NOT going shopping.
Promise that I will just watch and not touch. So exciting! Humidity has stabilised. I guess I was overly concerned like any expectant mum would be. Mother's Day tomorrow and this is the best present ever!
