Hi I am in day 5 of my eggs in the bator and I was wondering what is the correct humidity we should be keeping throughout the 21 days? Its been at 65 % . I just don't want it to be to high and/or low for the eggs. Temp is steady at 99%. Thanks for the help!

That's a little high for incubation. You need to be 45%-55% right now.65% would be good for hatching.

Thanks for the info--- should I try and get some water out of tray in bottom? If so I will have to open it for some time to do that and I will loose both temp and humidity-- which is worse for them right now?

wew, no matter if the eggs lost temp just for a while, even the hen leave her eggs 15 minutes for eat, drink and poo. 65% will make your embryos "swimming" since they can't swim now, they will drown and have a "circle / round" on their head, hope you find it out the "" statement. it's just harsh to tell the word out.

you should make it 45-50% and that's very good temp anyway.

good luck for you.

It won't hurt to take some water out of the tray.
