Humidity in LG at 40%

Have you calibrated your hygrometer to make sure it's correct? Could be off by 10% or more....

I use 1/2 cup kosher salt 1/2cup water in a mug. Seal it with the hygrometer in a gallon ziplock. It should reach 75% in about 12 hours. I usually wait 24. After that you can ad or subtract to make sure you have the right %age.

putting a pc fan in it is not going to hurt it, Ive had one in mine for a long time, all you do is wire it to a 12 volt adapter & plug it in, mount it where ever you want to, mine is in the top blowing down on the eggs & works great.
