Hi
Has anyone bought a digital temperature and humidity meter of Ebay?
They cost around 8 pounds .
They have a probe with the one i looked at
and i have sent a question to find out if the probe reads Humidity as well as temp or just temp.

I bought two dial gauges but they both read different:(
Any thoughts

Excellent website

The probe only reads temp, not humidity, I believe. Not sure which one you're looking at, though. And I'm not good at calculating pounds vs dollars, LOL, so not sure how much it costs.

You can calibrate your hygrometer by putting it in a ziplock bag beside a cup containing some wet salt. Leave it for at least 8 hours up to 12 hours, and it should read 75%. If it does not, you just adjust your reading to compensate for how much it's off. If it says 65% at 8 hours, that means it's reading 10% low and you know the humidity is actually 75%. So, 65% with that situation would really be 75%, if you understand what I'm saying.

You know the clear plastic food storage bags for freezing or storing food? Doesn't have to have a ziplock (with a zipper closure), just need to be able to seal it up. Sorry, I should have translated that, but I didn't know you did not have ziplock bags!
