Humidity Problem!! HELP!

okay...almost time for my 1st duck egg to hatch and I can't get the humidity to 75%! I have the hova bator 2362 and it is air circulated. I have left one of the vent plugs in to contain moisture level and the water tray is full and I have added 3 bowls of water to increase humidity.and this morning increased temp to 98.5. Should I plug the other vent as well! this duck is really special to us....somebody please help.... any suggestions? btw...there is moisture on the windows of the bator.

Wet paper towels or athletic socks work much better than bowls of water. For humidity, surface area is more important than depth, and the humdity will raise much faster using the wet towels.

Also, when you say you increased your temp to 98.5, what was it before? I thought with a circulated air bator, the temp should always be at 99.5?
