Yay!So excited first chick has made a break through and chirping loudly![]()
Now. Before the hatch begins. I keep mine open for the entire incubation. When should i open one of the vents on my bator.i have two chicks breaking through but the rest haven't started yet?
Place a wet sponge(s) or cloth in the bator. If you remove the plugs when you go into lockdown, you'll know what you'll need to adjust for humidity. I keep BOTH of my plugs out for the entire incubation. Only plugging for maybe 10 minutes when I need to boost the humidity and then I remove them again and I keep my humidity between 70-75% during hatch. Sometimes it shoots higher. What if humidity drops
