Humidity problem

This may be a crazy question but I am a little confused on humidity. The charts I have found list Humidity as wet bulb. I have 2 digital thermometers in my incubator that show the temp and humidity, my question is are these showing wet bulb humidity or the relative humidity? Here is a pic of the chart I'm referring to.

Do i just leave all the empty shells in there til they all hatch

Yes, leave the humidity up. Yes, you can leave the empty shells in there. Any bits that stick to the chicks will come off when they dry out. Plus it gives them something to do when they start to groom themselves. I'd only pull it off if it was over an eye or something, and even then I'd wait to see if it fell off over opening the incubator. Relax and enjoy the show! The chicks know what to do.

It's not a crazy question. Those are wet bulb humidity readings, using a thermometer with a wet wick to measure humidity. That's how the old time incubators did it before all these modern digital hygrometers. It's 100% reliable if the wick is on the bulb and is wet and the dry bulb temp is taken at the same place and the atmospheric pressure is known.

Use this calculator to convert to relative humidity:

Wet bulb readings are in degrees and your thermometers are in percentages and the numbers are VERY different. What do you need to know about humidty what are you looking for? Are you trying to figure out what humidity range to use for incubation or lockdown?
