Humidity question

Thanks so much for your replies. I was really panicking today. What I have done is google best hygrometer in UK for incubators and ordered that. The ones I have came in a pack of 3 a d all read differently. That does not help. But after the salt test I’ll hopefully find out how to read them. By the time I need to be more careful with humidity the better quality one will have arrived.

The salt test was helpful. I know now that one hygrometer is 1% out and one is 4% and one is 3%. To get a reading of 99F my box has to be set at 38.4 I used my meat thermometer probe to check. The readings from the hygrometers are not correct. So I’m going to get a proper thermometer from chemist today. How silly of me to assume that it would be accurate if I set the right temp on the box. But I’m happy today humidity is 40% and temp is 99F so that all seems ok. I think!
