Hi!
Dry incubating BCM for the umpteenth time.10 days in. The humidity usually stays between 20-40%. It is going up to 45-47%. Springtime in Texas, so humidity is always a factor. We have a dehumidifier by it now and it has helped a little. Wondering if anyone else has some tricks? It has never gone this high before. Thanks!

It shouldn't hurt them to go up a little as they don't know that you're trying to dry incubate versus traditional; however, if you're just wanting to keep it that low, you could try finding a different place for the incubator such as a closet where you can put your dehumidifier and keep a smaller area drier. Also, keep all live plants away, pet dishes, etc.

The % it's at right now is pretty normal for traditional hatching so I wouldn't worry.
